It's that Time of week. Time for this week's Blog Hop.

I decided to use one of the pictures that I took while on a little camping/train swap meet getaway the weekend before last. A cute little coffee shop with (I think) a cute and unique name.

It's A Girl!!

We are so excited! Kris has wanted a girl and my niece has, too, being the only girl in 5 of my mom's grandchildren.

For the prompt, it's Nicole's turn this week. The picture looks like it could have been taken by my husband on one of his business vacations trips, but it isn't. Let's see how it inspires you!!

-----------------------------

It's that time again and this week I have the reigns! Yay! It's been a long month for me so far - and I have a new goal to write a story to a photo prompt once a month at least. I think I can do it - how about you?

Anyways, before we kick off the prompt, make sure to check out the amazing prompts from last week-

Where and When: the Flash 500 Ebook

The big questions. When and where should the ebook start rolling out? It took me all weekend, but I have the answers. As to the when regarding each where, each place has their own quality control checks, so Nicole and I will be keeping an eye out and update you as each place posts. :-)

In the meantime, you can still download it, and in some cases convert it to your eReader, from BookRix here: http://www.bookrix.com/_ebook-nicole-pyles-flash-500/

The where:

From BookRix Customer Service email:

Amazon, Kobo, B&N, iTunes, Hugendubel, Libri, Thalia, Bol, Page Place, Spiegel and soon Diesel, Sony, and Baker & Tayler.

The when:

From BookRix site:

How long will it take for my book to appear on the other eBooks markets?

Normally after your book is fully uploaded for sale via BookRix and there are no issues with your book, it will take about 72 hours for your book to appear in the eBook stores. Some stores could take up to 7-21 days to show up online. This is because it goes through a review process on BookRix and a separate review process for the external shops.

Flash 500 Ebook Starting to Roll Out

I'm stealing +Nicole Pyles announcement because, frankly, I'm tired. :P

That doesn't mean I'm any less excited, though. :D

She posts where you can find it now. As the days go on, other ebook sellers should be picking it up from BookRix. I will be sure to keep you updated. <3

Thank everyone for their patience!!

(Posted 5/11/2013 at http://theworldofmyimagination.blogspot.com/2013/05/flash-500-anniversary-edition-download.html)

It's here!! Okay, well right it's only 10:57 pm on the West Coast, so we're not technically late on the publication date.

I'm scheduling this post for the morning though to catch everyone while you're drinking your morning coffee - that way you can download your copy of the anniversary edition of the weekly writing prompt!

Download Flash 500  today! It's a free book and it's awesome! It's also a lot of work and a lot of learning experiences along the way (makes sense, though doesn't it?)

Anyways, thank you everyone for your hard work submitting this week and a big huge thank you to Carrie for doing so much work on this!

---------------------------------

You're welcome, Nicole! Thank you for blogging about it. Lol.

Flash 500 Release Delayed

I know, I'm sorry. I'm sure you've been refreshing your Amazon search every 5 minutes to see if it's there.

Unfortunately, it's not.

Honestly, everything was ready to go on Wednesday. Reviewed on Thursday.

Then 'Publish' was hit, and that's when all the complications happened. :P

We are working through them, though. This is a hiccup, not a give up. In fact, we may have found a way to upload to multiple reader programs along with Amazon, so if you're Nook or iBook or Kobo reader, you'll get access sooner than expected!!

Granted, Kindle users may get it late, but we're hoping it's a trade off everyone can be okay with.

So, keep your eyes pealed. We are going to hit 'Publish' again tonight and see what happens this time. :P Once it's up, you will know because the West Coast will probably hear Nicole scream and the Midwest will hear me, and the echos will spread all over the world!!!

Maybe, anyway. I'm sure we will feel that loud, anyway.

So, wish us (and all the other authors!) luck, and we will have an ebook for you soon!!

My favorite part - I have a winner to announce!

Congratulations! I'll send you a note and you can let me know if you have a button or if you would like me to make one. We'll have it up by next Wednesday. :D

Fantastic! There are lots of new and old faces this week, and all the stories are wonderfully matched to Leanne's great photo choice. :)

On to this week's prompt - first, the rules.

2) Keep your word count 500 words or less.
3) You have until next Tuesday to link up your post.

Reminders. :)

I was going to pound out my story for WWBH, but my one year old gave me his cold. :P So, let's go for reminders, instead. :)

The first reminder is for the WWBH post. You have until tonight by 8pm EST to get your stories in to be eligible for this month's ad prize. If you win, your button will be displayed on each of the hop hostess's blogs for a month. :) If you don't have a button, we can make one for you with a photo you send us, or from scratch. You can check out the Past Winner's page for some examples of the button's I've put together.

Secondly, don't forget Flash 500 comes out on Friday! Mark your calendars, watch my Countdown widget, then stop over at Amazon to pick it up. If you don't have a Kindle or Kindle Ap, in 90 days it will be available through other readers for you. :)

That's it for today. I hope you have a good one. I'm going to cuddle with puppies, I think, to help me feel better. :)

Flash 500 Ebook Announcement

4 Days to Go!

To what, you ask? There have been a few blogs and posts going on about the anniversary publication of the WWBH posts. Nicole and I collected as many of our favorites as we could hold, which was unfortunately not all the writers or all the stories. We also contacted as many photographers as we could to include the photographs inspiring the prompts. All to put together an anthology featuring stories from the first year of the Writer's Wednesday Blog Hop.

And it's available Friday, May 10th.

That's this Friday if you're curious. We'll start out at Amazon for the first 90 days, then plan to go through Smashwords as well.

Oh, and it's FREE!

Just to let you know.

So be sure to get your Kindles and your Kindle reader apps ready for Friday, when you can add a collection of amazing stories from amazing writers based on some amazing photos.

To entice you some more, here's the cover. (Joshua wants you to know he's the little boy in the far right, bottom corner.)

Beautiful, isn't it?

If you can't tell, we're pretty excited about this publication. :) A big, huge thank you to everyone who has joined in the hop. We can't wait to read all the stories this next year has to bring, and we hope we can thank more writers in this special way and others. :)

And here's a sneak peek of out everyone who has agreed to be a part of our blog hop, and now the ebook.
