Growing Pains: Falling Asleep the Hard Way

Sebastian has a hard time going to bed, sometimes. One night was a marathon cry, but unknown to him, we've already practiced this game with his older brother. By the time he was quiet and we went in to check, this was what we found.

He had sat up crying for so ling that when he did fall asleep, he just fell forward. We unfolded the poor little guy and covered him up and could finally get our own rest.

  1. My daughter would sleep like this too sometimes. Babies are so flexible.

    1. I know! I wish there was a way to keep it all. Maybe gymnastics? Well, maybe something a bit less expensive. :-P

  2. It can be so hard to leave them crying like that sometimes, but it's worth the perseverance. Poor little chap.

    1. It is hard! For some reason, it's more difficult with our second. Maybe it's because we were so exhausted with our first we didn't have the energy to feel as guilty. Now we're just used to that state of fatigue. ;)
